Normally dh and I get store bought cakes for our birthdays, but this year I decided to make dh one for his birthday. We didn't actually eat it tonight because tomorrow is his birthday.

This is the basketball side of the 2-in-1 set. The hoop isn't very sturdy...think it's going back to the store.
June 5, 2009 A little pool fun
We were trying out this basketball/volleyball combo set to see if it would work in the pool. Unfortunately the side of the net to the right drops off into the deep end (8 ft.) not far from where Ethan is standing so it didn't work very well. I think we'll look for just a basketball hoop to play with in the shallow end.

We hosted an end of the school year pool party...it was a blast! I think at one point we had 30 kids in the pool.

Seth's teacher made sure that all the kids with summer birthdays got a chance to celebrate in class before school ended.
