January 18, 2009 Thanksgiving in January




I picked up this oil-less turkey fryer during the week and we wanted to give it a try. The past couple of years we've deep fried our turkey for Thanksgiving and while it's by far the best tasting turkey I've ever had it is definitely costly and messy and a pain to clean up and dispose of the oil. So, we tried out the new gizmo today and the turkey was even better than the ones we've fried in peanut oil. Oh, and check out the crazy temps outside today.
